This sounds like something i would dislike such as todays blocked kicks which are also random and annoying. I would rather have fate in my own hands by implementing a mechanic that makes me mad at my own mistake rather then hate madden for 2 days

I would love to see long snapping matter too. I don't remember what the kicking is like in Next-Gen, but I remember on Madden 08 for the PS2, it was nearly impossible to miss a kick. The only times I''d ever miss is when I'd try a 60 yarder.

Yeah kicking is entirely too simple and 60 yarders seem like 20 yarders being entirely too easy with just stick motion. There is a reason why extra points are missed (Ask veteran John Carney) or others who miss so called "Easy" field goal attempts. Madden makes it entirely too easy to make field goals without the risk involved

I do think snapping is important and should be ratings based, I know the Cowboys have a guy whose job is just to long snap field goals. The holder should be important too. A missed snap or botch every once in a while would be pretty nice, also a blocked field goal now and then too.

Its ridiculous how easy field goals are in madden. I think madden 04 was the last madden that had a field goal meter that was somewhat challenging.
