Real Injuries - Where Are They?

After so much promising news about Madden 10's gameplay needs/fixes I have yet to see anything about injuries. One of the most prolific aspects of football (the NFL especially) is the injury.

If anyone could add some of what they have seen on Sunday I would appreciate it. I am pretty sure this would help the devs in implementing some realism as far as injuries go.

I hope so too. Real time injuries are in APF2K8 and are pretty sweet looking. A receiver running a pattern will sometimes pull a hamstring and hold onto his leg, limping. I'd like to see something like this plus many more in Madden.

They need to do what 2k8 did. When a player would pulls his hammy he would limp down field and then collapse sometimes.

specific injury like which arm or shoulder a qb injured would be a factor

We've made improvements...we'll talk about them later on when we're more sure with how it all will play out. Don't want to talk about anything yet because it's still in flux.

But we can't do the gruesome injuries in realtime (i.e. legs bending the wrong way and stuff a la Brady's knee injury). NFL is not keen on those.

Are you allowed to do stuff like APF had where a guy pulls up during a play with a bad hamstring or whatever?
