Can we scrap the SPRINT button altogether? Why do we need it? Wouldn't it do wonders for the SIM element and overall "flow" of the game?

How bout making it an OPTION for casuals so they can have it. I dont think any of the hardcore SIM guys would miss it.

Thought? Comments?

There have been a couple of threads about this. I think it worked great for the NHL series. I'd like to see how it would work in a football game.

Must have missed some of those threads. I think it works great for NHL09 and feel it would work even BETTER in Madden/NCAA. Feels more natural. plus it opens up another button (RT) for something else more useful.

I think this is a great idea. Just let the player get up to max speed on his own.

Here is a radical idea! Take out the juke button as it is just a glorified cut. Just make the cutting ability take over. If your running and turn real sharp it will just force your back to slow down until he gets within his realm of cutting ability, then have him cut based on his attribute. The better the cutting attribute the better the cut.

I know this would never fly as they don't want to take that much control away from the user but at the same time I think it would give much more power to the RBs ability than someones stick skills.

Sounds like a good idea to me

. Especially if there is an option to turn it on and off.
