Would you buy Madden NFL 10 or ESPN NFL 2k10?

ESPN NFL 2K5 had the advantage of the ESPN license.

The game had ESPN logos, music, presentation, and personalities. It immediately felt recognizable. It felt like the NFL on TV.

ESPN NFL 2K10 would have the same advantage, and that's huge.

Well if your speaking in hypothetical terms assuming that the NFL2k franchise had been in development for the past 5 years, there is no doubt in my mind that it would be the superior product.

5 years ago Nfl2k5 on restrictive and inferior hardware Nfl2k5 offered features that madden still hasn't added or addressed on superior hardware after 5 years of develpment on a next gen system. Features such as online leagues *which we have begged for*, realistic looking gang tackling, better animations, realtime lighting, better camera angles, the vip feature which replicates a players style etc..

So if both games had been in development during the past 5 years, there is no doubt I would have bought nfl2k 10, online leagues would be advanced and polished after 5 years, gang tackling would have looked amazing after years of tweaking....etc...

I agree there was something just....off about APF from Espn 2k5....besides the dumbed presentation, non NFL teams, etc.

I like it more than 2K5, and I know I'm in the minority on this. But I can't say I'm not looking forward to Madden because I am. I'm looking forward to seeing what BB has to offer also. Could you imagine what we could be seeing if EA, VC, Sony, Microsoft(remember the Fever), and the BB team ALL were making NFL games?
