You want to have an Online franchise but with the ability to search for online players to play against for each individual game. So your playing with the Redskins in you online franchise. Instead of having to find 31 other committed friends to keep the franchise going, you would just search for a player to play against online.

Redskins week 1- let's say your playing the Raiders in week 1. You could just go online and search for a person playing with the Raiders and challenge them to play against you in your franchise. You could search by rank, team, etc. This way you don't need 31 other friends. You have the entire online community playing you in your franchise. Is this right?

Not a bad idea, IMO.

Yea, I did a piss poor job of explainning it though. The only exception is you wouldn't be doing none of the franchise stuff besides playing multiple seasons using the current roster/updated rosters. But you could compare seasons stats to one another.

It's an OK idea, but it would take away from the real fun of online franchise, trades, drafts, free agency, etc.

well I have thought of this many times but it just wouldn't work because how many people have you played online who was the Lions, Seahawks, Rams, Dolphins etc. I would say 75-80% of the online community uses the Pats, Giants, Steelers, Cowboys and Eagles...
