Do you ever make athletes in your franchise?

You guys ever create players who are athletes but don't play in the NFL? I might create a guy like Usain Bolt because he's 6'5" and 190 lbs. I think it would be fun to make a guy like that and give him 99 speed and 99 accel with pretty much crap ratings for everything else. He could be a kick returner or something. I'm thinking I might create a few guys like that in my franchise. Anyone else?

I do more people from movies. For madden 09 i created a few players from Necessary Roughness, Bobby Boucher from the Water Boy and Shane "Footsteps" Falco from The Replacements. I'm just weird i guess...

I make NBA players, that were great at both basketball and football. I think I'm going to make Nate Robinson a DB for the Cowboys.

A 5'6, 175 DB with 99 speed, 99 agility, 99 acceleration and 99 jumping. LOL

I really think Dwight Howard could step in and be the best TE in the league after a season or two.

6-11, 265 lbs. Insane strength and jump. He'd be a ridiculously solid blocking and catching TE with just a little bit of technique. He'd probably be a real life rocket-catching machine. After all, it takes timing, leaping ability and solid hands to get as many rebounds as he does.

Only difference is, Nate was a starting D-1 DB at Washington. Only thing Dwight can do is Dunk. And he only get's so many rebounds, because he has a wing-span like Tyshaun Prince. Watch his highlights, he is not jumping that high, he just has long arms.

I'm not a big fan of him. He is overrated IMO!

Re: Do you ever make athletes in your franchise?

I'll make him. But I don't if he should be WR or TE? The guy does run like a 4.5 forty.

OT: He is not fast enough in NBA 2K9!

Anyway, I think it's clear his speed will be between 93-99, 99 acceleration, 99 strength, 99 Jumping, 99 Hands, 99 stamina, 99 agility, 90-95 awareness.
