Anyone heard of gorilla games? Its only like 5 of them. I just wonder if they are more like a mom and pop store than a gamestop.It saids they are not a franchise they are trademark license store.

A store which is pretty small which doesn't have a chain like gamestop, and to make money they sell before the actual release date. Real Copies are sold by them. Once they are shipped the games, they sell them for the same price. Try going to a small store that isnt well known.

Well I called the guy who owns the mom&pop store and he said he would be glad for me to come in and buy the game. I drove to the store which is 10 minutes away from the house and I bought the game. I gave him a tip as well as tax so i ended up spending 75 dollars. I'm going to turn the game on right now and play it. My thoughts will be back on later because I will be addicted.

locally owned small gaming shops... basically. The national chain stores..best buy, ToysRus,EBGames,GameStop,GameCrazy,Fry's,etc are stores that usually follow the game's official release dates..unfortunately.

But as everyone has stated.. these mom and pop stores usually sells the game before the official release date... i have the game already paid for at gamestop but if i find it early..i'll just get my money back from gamestop and buy it early from who is ever selling it early..i have gotten lucky quite a bit..only reason why i already preordered it was for the demo and also paid it in full already so i dont gotta worry about paying for it later on...

It is just a smaller store that doesn't have a contract with EA to sell the game at a certain date. All stores get the game the same time, it's just that bestbuy and gamestop and bigger well known stores are not allowed to sell them before the official release date. Or they get fined pretty big.

It's like comparing bestbuy to Dave's electronics.
