Will they ever add live rosters?

The answer is simple. Offer both modes, NFL Live and the traditional fantasy franchise. Everyone's happy. Too bad it will probably be until mid way through next gen (PS4/720) to add fluff like this.

By no means is that a "simple" answer. You're adding an entire mode to the game. DVD restrictions, programming the mode, etc. I'm not saying it's crazy hard, but don't make it sound like the flip of a switch.

It's a UI change, the core game is the same. But the guy who said to just play quick play is right, I just wish we could have a year mode so I could get more invested in it.
And roster updates coming every other week is inexcusable, they should be updated at least once a week when the starters are named (Friday?)

Last year, Tom Brady of the New England Patriots went down with a season ending injury in the first game of the year.
The backup of said team? Matt Cassell.
So, if you played the Patriots in game 2-16, then you faced who?... you guessed it, Matt Cassell.
But in Madden 09 world, Tom Brady was probably racking up TDs late in the season.

I wouldn't like it if Live Rosters were in Franchise... I don't like the idea that if a guy gets injured in real life that they take him off my franchise roster... and that I fundamentally can't control my franchise rosters.

But I would like constantly updated rosters throughout the year in the game... not have to wait for Roster updates.
