Sorry if EA takes a **** in the wind it ends up on a web site, so if they (or another publisher) levied a big bad fine against a retailer it would be all over the net. I've yet to find one, in all honesty I haven't looked in a long time but I would love to see someone post a link to any kind of reference.

I think you're right that the different corps. want the street dates. I friend of mine is a regional manager for Toys R Us and I asked him about getting a copy early. He told me that there aren't many things he could lose his job over, but that was one of them.
I suppose the big boys don't care about mom and pop stores selling a handful of copies but they don't want the big box store in town getting their copies a day or 2 early and selling them early- thus taking business away from the others.

Why are some people all of a sudden coming on here and complaining and saying Ea ain't getting my money are the madden serias is heading down bad road are something like. I think Ea and the madden crew is doing a good job this year of bringing madden back to it's glory. Yes madden will have a few small glitches and bugs. But those can be fixed and patched. But congrats to the people who got them a week early. I would got a copy myself early around here if there was any mom and pop stores in my town. But that ain't happening. So I got to wait till 14 at midnight release to get mine.
