The guy from FOX who calls the BCS National Championship games - anyone know his name? I think he's the Reds announcer too.
Other than that it's gotta be Al Michaels.

no i mean mlb 2k9. there presentation isnt great but the announcing doesnt have any roboticness to it. It is completely fluid like listening to a real game. i heard mlb the show has amazing presentation although i dont know much since i have a 360.

Al Michaels makes the most sense to me. Just based off the fact that him and Collinsworth are already working with eachother. Also I think it would be great if they could do something with NBC to get some of their actual gameplay commentary into the video game.

John Madden and Pat Summerall.

Here is how: old NFL broadcasts could be mined for actual game commentary. With the addition of a small amount of newly recorded material (player names, etc..) a complete library of commentary based on the classics could be built. Other announcers could also be included in other libraries, imagine old time radio announcers and film patina visual effects on a classic game replay.

There are audio splicing wizards out there who could do a great job with it. It'd be freaking awesome.

The name of the Reds Announcer BTW is Thom Brennaman, who is the son of Reds radio voice Marty Brennaman.

Re: Possible replacements for Tom Hammond

I like Michaels, in real life, but I don't think he brings enough energy over to the virtual world.

Still, he's better than Hammond, but I think they should take a shot with Joe Buck.

But, seeing as how Michaels and Collinsworth are working together on SNF now, and the way the poll is currently working, it's hard to believe that it won't be Michaels.
