What team did you replace? I'm think that is uses that teams city to determine weather.

I loved PS2 create a team. Great replay value. I would create 32 new teams and do a fantasy draft. Why do we have such awful logo's for ps3 madden? Do you guys think we will get a team generator a la NCAA for Madden 11?

I'm doing a Franchise with that right now. I created the San Antonio Spartans to take the place of the Cleveland Browns. I've got a dynasty story going in the Dynasty HQ sections (link in sig), it's not as flashy as some of the others out there (I'm not good enough to do pictures and all that, but I've got game highlights from the games I play thanks to EA Sports World), but people seem to be enjoying it.

I finally finished getting my team in the league. I sim'd the first season only to discover that you have to wait another year to actually move your team and you have to create your uniforms from withing the franchise and cannot use the ones from Create-A-Team. So after another sim'd season I was ready to go. We took the field and our uniforms and stadium look good. Then I realized that my number 1 HB, Steven Jackson, was not on the field. I checked the depth chart and he was still number one and not hurt. Very strange. I finished the game and started the next, an away game. This time my uniforms were generic ones EA chose and Jackson was still not on the field. I quit the game and checked my uniforms and both home and away had reverted to the generic Ea ones. Very aggravating! Plus, I have no idea how to get Jackson to play!

ahahahah this is a great thread. im still living in 2003 fellas. im the only one left in the world with a PS2 and i play Madden 2004 on it. let me tell you the created team logos are spiffy. I made a team called the Portland Pythons with Vick as the captain. everyone else on the team sucks. everytime i make a team i put like 1 or 2 good guys on it and the rest just bad free agents or 3rd strings. and always Fantasy. oh and i always replace the texans, but i wanted to replace the cardinals, so Portland would be in the NFC West. Im currently 3-1. ahah wish me luck and please if you really want the Created Team experience go buy Madden 2004. so much better than any other game leading up to 2009.

Have we determined which created team names the announcers will actually say? I remember back in the day they had a whole slew of names they would pronounce. I've tried Vipers, Killer Bees, and Yellow Jackets. No luck so far.

I have a problem and if anyone can help me with it I would be very greatful.

I moved the Jets to Manhattan and turned them into the Manhattan Vipers. I designed a new uniform. When, a year later the team actually moved the uniform was gone, replaced by a generic yellow/brown one. I edited the uniform under Edit Active Team. The edit uniform now shows up for home games, but for away games i still have the ugly cpu generated uni.

Simple Q: How do I edit AWAY uniforms?
