Franchise Freezing

i guess this issue is being fixed in the first patch

Its weird cuz my franchise games would freeze almost every game on my ps3, I happen to get a ps3 slim and played lots of games with the same franchise and havent had a freeze yet.

And madden is the ONLY game that freezes that much on my old ps3 , so even tho it is the game somehow it always work on my ps3 slim.

I keep getting game freeze when I try to get into online franchise...

I guess I'll stick with online ranked game for now.

I've had all kinds of trouble on the xbox 360 with the patch installed. Basically, I could never finish a game a it would freeze at some point.

So as an experiment, I got hold of a newer xbox 360 just to see what would happen. So far, playing a few franchise games (and my son's played a few superstar games), I've had no freezing at all.

It doesn't make sense to me as my older xbox 360 will play every other game just fine & will play Madden 10 without the patch just fine. So there's definitely something wrong with the game itself. But it appears there's some evidence that the hardware makes some difference as well.

So now, I'm happy that I can play with the patch (at least until I have to give the xbox back), pissed that EA won't even comment or acknowlege an issue, and undecied what to do .... I can't just buy a new 360 to play with the patch.
