ANY UPDATES ON WHEN "NORMAL" IS COMING BACK ONLINE???

It doesnt matter what speed anyone feels is most naturally to real life.

The fact is, the slow game speed masks most of the major defects in this game.

While game speed is low, the pocket and blocking animations arent as crazy. Defenses have time to react while QBS have more time in the pocket.

The biggest reason for this change is to mask the weaknesses in the game and try to make the game more fair to everyone.

Its certainly not about personal preference at this point.

Normal is the best speed. Ian said it was only a test, but I guess they are not going to change it back. I wish they would

I play on slow just because that's what the game shipped with offline and I don't mind it, but I don't see how it's more sim. If anything it seems much slower than what I'm used to watching on TV.

Is this changed on online franchises as well? If so, if you started a franchise already...did it change it for existing ones?

Regular games vs the cpu in online franchise are still set to normal speed, but head to head play is at default slow. Trust me you will notice the difference.

A player running in pads is closer to the speed on normal than it is on slow.

Is their any reason why EA just cant give us the option to choose game speeds for ourselves online? Im know nothing about game programing but I do know that giving the gamer more options is always a good thing. A lesson I thought EA learned after removing the CPU sliders from last years Madden.
