Sounds to me like you need to learn how to close games out more than anything. I haven't had the AI recover a single onside on me, and I don't even control any of the guys in the front lines; I control the guy in the back row all the way to the left and just let my AI recover it for me.

For me the AI constantly plays 1 half better than the other. Sometimes its the first half sometimes its the second half. Also a lot of times when they get the ball in the 2 min drill they become hard as heck to stop from scoring. Still I would rather have some of that excitement than blowing them out all the time, what fun is that.

im not talkin bout on side kicks im talking about how the ai becomes unstoppable, ive had the ai bust 2 70 yard td runs on me to tie the game and i had them stopped in the back field but he trucked right through them

Re: good ol' comeback ai!

Honestly, I do not believe there is comeback AI in this game. Sure, there are many instances were CPU players and QB's catch fire but I doubt this is comeback AI.

I did notice that if your on a losing or winning streak, your play is affected.

Example:

I have lost two straight in my franchise, game three will be more difficult to win due to the streak.

The reverse of this is the same and you have put into affect the impact of "rivalry games" and "playoff games" as well.

Re: good ol' comeback ai!

call it what you want but i tried controlling and not controlling on those 3 onside kicks and they got all three and only one was even close. They were perfect kicks! What are the chances. And they scored most of their points in the last 1 1/2 quarters and i played mostly the same d but they got into robo qb mode. Almost every pass was a completion even when I hit the qb. He always found someone open. Or its be 3 and 5, 10, 12 etc.. and they break tackles after catch or burn my good cb and score. Always on 3rd down.

That could have been a factor but I have noticed "Robo QB" does have an affect, so I'll give you a break on that.

I have never seen the CPU recover three onside kicks but still you should have been able to stop them at least once.

The devs also say that there is no "Humanly Possible" way for the ball to go through players, and yet it happens all the time.

I would not say comeback ai as much as CPU cheating stick, since, that is the only way the CPU can be competitive.

Woah, so they ran the ball on you well TWO PLAYS?! That's crazy. You're right. Comeback AI is obviously there.
