Turn it to Hardcore Playcalling. I did only that and not the controll all 32 teams approach and got good results.

I tried controlling all 32 teams and lowering aggression to 0 and they still blitz like crazy.

Only way to stop the all out blitz is to use all 32 teams and put the defensive aggression from 50 which most teams are at to 0 and the teams that have 60 put them at 10

and if you play on anything but hardcore then you are cheating yourself.

the a.i plays smarter on hardcore then advance.

also lower the human pass blocking slider and raise the cpu pass rush...

that will help big time until it gets patched or fixed for next year

at times you will still see all out blitzes but it does not happen as often as playing play now games.

I play in an Online Franchise so I can't lower team's aggression ratings. And the whole thing about "Hardcore Playcalling" simply isn't true. I still get way too many blitzes, and that's not me being oversensitive to the blitz.

Same here. Was sad too because I was hoping it would work and sometimes I'd face a team that pretty much run a "Tampa 2" type scheme where it's mostly coverage and rushing the front four.

Ok, you all are confusing me now, lol. Why do some say changing aggression, controlling all teams, etc changes gameplay, and some say it doesn't

it helps a little bit but definitely does not completely fix the problem whatsoever.

That is the thing about this game. you should not have to go to hardcore just for the AI to stop blitzing so much. The AI should adapt to your playing style. That was the theme for this year madden. But yet the AI does not adjust to what you are calling. Instead the AI blitz like crazy. That is not reealism one. Hopefully in this new patch update Ian can squeeze that adjustment into it. But if not. This is something Ian needs to put on top of his list to correct for madden 11.
