In year 3, I had a major CAP problem with the Cowobys in Franchise mode, so I traded away many of the guys that were hitting the CAP the hardest mostly taking Draft Choices for them. Managed to snag a 1,2,3,4,4, or something along those lines. What I found interesting is that you can't go over 10 Draft choices. Is this an artificial limit that Madden put into the game, or is this really a limit set by the NFL?

No.
there are no pick limits.

Nope. Cleveland has 11 picks this year.

I know in Madden, yes, you can only have ten draft picks. I don't think there is a limit in the NFL however as to how many picks you can have. And if there is I know its more than 10. I'm not 100% though.

Did they say why they limited draft picks? Was it to try to make it harder for guys to work the system?

The reasoning is probably to keep users from beating the system by acquiring all the late round picks or enough to get all the draft steals anyway.

That can very well be a possibilty my man. But I have no idea or haven't heard any explanation to why we are only limited to 10.

madden has had this dumb 10 pick limit for as long as i can remember.

just another one of their self imposed rules that only serves as an aggravation
