Ya know it's funny how when ppl think of a bad team they bring up my Bucs...did y'all forget that we're just two years removed from the playoffs...and last year we would've been there if not for the 2 half collapse...get off my team...and use the Rams or Lions...get real the Bucs aren't as bad as the perception

Any team, regardless of your last playoff appearance, that win three games is a bad team. They did not lose because of injuries, they did because they suck. They have a promising young QB, no RB worth while (sorry d-ward and caddy won't get it done), no WR and a bad defense. The only team that is less promising then the Bucs are the Rams.

If your team is bad get over it, I suffered for three years as a Titans fan and saw us almost blow two top six picks (Pac-man and almost VY).

You'll get better, just pray that both DTs aren't gone when you're on the board.

The Bucs are bad.

They are slow, have fragile skill position people, and are soft on both lines.

The Holy Trinity for being a bad team.

Every team in the NFL can point to their results at the end of the season ad find 4 or 5 games that they "Could have won, and lost by 7 points or less."

The fact of the matter, is that they lost those games.

In the case of a 4-12, 3-13 type of team, they find a way to lose those kind of games nearly every time.

That's why they are bad teams

Colts hve been shafted on ratings all year long. Teams like the Bucs, Rams, and Lions have had more players go up in the MOST RECENT update.

Heck, even Reggie Wayne went down.

And the Colts are still way better than any of those teams.

I mean, yeah, some Bucs went up - from low 60 to mid 60. Yeah, really a challenge to what the Colts have.

Colts play far better than the Bucs in game - even with them being "shafted" on ratings.

I mean, when I played them I didn't think "wow this team got the shaft". Reggie Wayne dropped? Never would know it by playing the game - he was a pain for the AI to cover and he was a pain for my defense to cover when I played against them.

Re: Do Colts have to win Super Bowl to get realistic ratings?

It goes back to the difference between the Colts with Peyton Manning and the Colts without Peyton Manning. With, they are a perennial Super Bowl contender who has gone undefeated with him at the helm this season. Without, they are a decidedly mediocre. I know my signature seems to contradict what I'm saying, but the team's primary talent core is its passing game, with the one of the greatest quarterbacks in the history of the game, and (currently) a core of talented receivers.

Last year, with Gruden, your team needed one win in four games [one opponent was the Raiders] to make the playoffs and you couldn't do it. Also the Bucs have a history of being bad, and only a sliver of years of being the real deal... so it's fun to make fun of the bucs like it is fun to make fun of Rex Grossman and Ryan Leaf. It's easy to make fun of the Lions, but the Bucs actually have a Superbowl victory and in recent history, talented teams.

Oh, and making fun of someone else's teams is part of the fun of being a fan.

-----Remember this is all in jest, don't take it personal.

P.S. My friend brought something to my attention recently, when it comes to football and trash talking, if you have nothing left to say, the "go-to" line is to say something about how the other team's QB is bad:

"Tony Romo, more like Tony [something that rhymes with romo that would get me an infraction at OS]."

"Yeah, well, Favre is old enough to be Kurt Warner's father."

etc. etc.

While talking trash to a Cowboy's fan and how they hadn't won a playoff game since 1996 [this was of cource durring the regular season] he replies, "Yeah, well, Alex Smith sux!"

All I have to say is you shouldn't judge a team you don't watch
