Re: Toughest Loss Ever!!!!

Mine is NCAA 2011. I was using miami against PENN st. online up 20-0 with 3 minutes to go Im running the ball to keep the clock moving when My RB fumbled on a simple run play up the middle that was ran back for a TD. Then on the kickoff my KR fumbled and that was returned for a TD, so I'm still up 20-14 when I try a PA keep he kept the line stacked, as soon as I hike the ball the pressure is there so I throw it to my TE who is wide open over the middle and its overthrown and is pick off by the safety and is ran in for a touchdown needless to say I broke a wireless controller that day

Wow! This is the front runner for most heart breaking loss so far, even more so then mine. However, your's was due to bad luck (understatement?), and mine was due to my own dumb***, and a stupid decison to not knee it.

Re: Toughest Loss Ever!!!!

2nd year of my Oakland Raiders Franchise, and I made it to the Superbowl. Almost had ROTY with a player named I believe Anthony Lucas, a DB who had 19 sacks, his speed and tackling was amazing. he could get by any RB or TE who would block, and could run around the RT.

Had 25 TD passes with Bruce Gradkowski, but most likely, just a number off the top of my head had about 30 INT. He threw at least over 3,000 yards, not a bad year besides the INTs.

Darren McFadden was on the verge of having a 1500 yard rushing season till he got injured for 3 games. My whole offense grew around my running game, as I tried and controlled the pace of each game, and Play Action was my money maker in big gains.

Caught in the Wild Card by ending the season 11-5, I come up all the way to the Superbowl to face off against the Arizona Cardinals. It was a high scoring Superbowl. Ending in 44-45.

Earlier in the game i took a game leading touchdown coming off a forced fumble. Though the XP was blocked. Plus earlier Janikowski missed a key 50 yarder.

so mistakes costs me 4 points, I took the lead with about 45 seconds left. I didn't want to risk a hail mary with Larry Fitzgerald and Anquoin Boldin, I played deep thinking I would be able to keep them in bounds, as they were out of time outs. Kurt Warner starts driving down the field, with 11 seconds left he is on the 25 yard line.

In shotgun formation he hikes and Anquoin Boldin comes across the middle, Kurt Warner throws it fast and high, he comes down with it, breaks the tackle and crosses the line for the game tying touchdown, and the game winning XP after.

44-45 was the end score, as I lose the Superbowl.
