I am not sure if anyone else notice this, but for some reason its either players don't reach top speed in the open field or they get caught or run down by slower guys. Like Randy Moss who's top speed is 95 slowly getting caught by Lee Bodden who is like 86.

Include me as well. I've never been caught by a slower player. Not sure what's going on with the OP's settings

Haven't seen it either. The speedsters are gone if they get behind the defense from my experiences.

Never happens here either... maybe you've adjusted the sliders in a way that the CPU is faster than you?

Yeah I don't see how it is possible either and I have my speed threshold slider at 65 and still don't get caught from behind by slower guys. Once I get passed a person, I'm gone.

Check the acceleration rating. EA had a promo video a few months back showing how a faster guy will get off the line quicker but a DB with a higher ACC rating than the WR would catch him down the field....

Acceleration has nothing to do with catching players from behind. All acceleration does is control how fast it takes a player to get to top speed. Top speed is still top speed.

A DB with 84 speed and 99 acceleration still can't catch a WR or HB with 86 speed and 83 acceleration from behind.
