Um no, no 350 lb DT is catching Vick running at any angle unless he is cornered...he was simply running straight back and was caught...

I agree it shouldn't of happened but I was just pointed out that the crazy high acceleration they have Nagata with was probably the reason..

it didnt seem like the guy controlling Vick was using RT to scramble. Remember it has to be held down for the QB to run at full speed. Otherwise hes running at about half speed. The zig zaging also allowed him to close in easier.

that and lets be honest, neither one of those guys could pass for crap. running all over when most of the time the pockets was fine, throwing directly into coverage....their skills werent a very good testimate to how QBs should be playing.

This game just doesn't look like real football. It doesnt capture it at all. The more videos I watch, the more I see hype. I'll probably start buying Madden a year behind starting this year. Next spring/summer I'll score this for $10 or less at my local game exchange used

The more video I watch, the worse it looks in my opinion. After watching this, I briefly watched some Madden PS2 footage on youtube and gameplay honestly look eerily similar, graphics aside.

To quote OS Staff Jayson Young's impression of the NCAA 12 demo: "The dynamic lighting, detailed stadiums and individualized player uniforms are the only things that feel truly next-gen to me..."

This might apply for Madden 12 as well.

I would never play against anyone who made pre-snap adjustments and hot routes like that on every single play.

That is so freaking annoying.

Michael Vick looking like Peyton Manning out there.

And half the time, they're just looking to throw a bomb.

That's why I don't play online. It's ridiculous.

I'm all for pre-snap reads like where the Philly FS was playing up and the CB only had single coverage (zone at that).

But every play??

Might be a first day purchase for me.

DPP, Custom Playbooks and a much deeper franchise mode will have a lot of replay ability on this end. Plus, no suction, better tackling and stronger zone D will be nice additions.

After playing the NCAA demo, I'm getting a bit more excited towards Madden. I'm throwing INT's more into coverage on the demo than I have in the past. You really need to look for the open person and not just concentrate on your primary WR.
