Once again like I stated before, The players created by the CPU including alot of the UDFA are messed up with wide pads. Unlike the 30 madden hand created draft class which are hand created by the dev team which has no problems of that sort.

When the ncaa classes are imported the madden engine has to create all these players they are not set like the pre-determind draft classes. thats why the pads and proportion are messed up. It's the random generated player engine in madden that's the problem
While it sucks that it hasn't been fixed, I have to admit I'm a little relieved that, based on the CPU generated UDFAs appearance, is looking like an issue that needs to be/hopefully can be fixed on the Madden side. I would be livid if it were simply an issue to be handled on the NCAA side of things, rendering my 13+ years of dynasty worthless.

I still haven't even started a serious franchise yet hoping at least this will be fixed, as it's the only thing that I can't really work around.

Body proportions and wide pads are def still there but what we don't have now is a hand full of players coming out with the giants spikes .

The jagged sharp spike pads and the wide pads are 2 different issues. I think the wide shoulder pads are related to the game not giving players enough body mass. But the spikey ones were on players with both wide shoulder pads and ones that didn't have wide shoulder pads before the NCAA patch.

So typically prepatch you would see WRs and Lineman and sometimes others with the wide pads and spikes coming out but other players would come in sometimes with regular pads and still have those giants spikes.

So if you look at the pictures in this thread Barkley's pad would look as they do in the pictures but would have these huge spikes as well.

Anyway someone could toy with the body mass of NCAA players then import to see what affects what?

spike pads are still there check your WRs, it's not as noticeable because of their sleeves being up.

Jus tried it and my players are still coming out with spikey n wide pads. From what i can tell all of its is random. I imported the same draft twice and A. Luck , in the first one, had the messed up pads. In the second one , he looked fine, no spikey or wide pads. so i dnt know. and that is because i messed with the body in ncaa12. Its just random

Hmm I see so maybe it being random is whats throwing me off here in that case this sucks and is def still broken and EA needs to fix this among the other problems soon and not 2 months later like NCAA 12 lol Seriously though who at EA imported and looked at this and said to themselves this was just fine?

I noticed that Rib pads added to QB make them look normal sized. Also have to take out the sleeveless jersey.
