I'll wait for the audio preview before I jump to a conclusion but I could care less about pregame presentation audio. My biggest issue with M12 was the dead air and repetitive statements from the commentators. I need to see more in-game commentary before I get happy.

So you only sort of don't care?

Watched the whole presentation part of the webcast replay - Nice. Still think Jim and Phil look silly but, again, very welcome addition to have the booth. The presentation definitely has CBS all over it. I guess they had to do something with that license since they only used it once for NCAA basketball.

I know the game could use a lot more work but I was disappointed to not hear anything about penalties being reworked and "authenticated". I still don't understand how that can be overlooked, again.

LOL. You know what I mean. I just hope that the "audio" improvements arent just generic pregame statements by Nantz and Simms talking about unnamed Linebackers being an important part of the game.

I have very little patience with EA when it comes to promoting new "features" and then using the "It's year 1" excuse when the feature comes up short. EA did that when it brought Collinnsworth on and when it added Johnson. I expect that the audio will at the minimum be a marked improvement from last year.

Well right at the 36:00 mark of the webcast, the slide specifically states "Nonstop Banter-No dead air".

Also, after reading the presentation blog, I want to give credit to the awesome seeming design work that the art team has done. I read a lot of complaints about the unrealistic look of the field last year, from long grass to blotchy patches, so nice work fixing that.

I honestly believe the "little" details attended to by the art team will have a subtle but significant impact on the immersion of the game. Just want to let that group know we all appreciate it, even though they are usually unsung like offensive lineman and special team role players. lol

The problem is we heard dead air. Simms and Nantz dont speak from the time the TD is called through the entire replay. Maybe I'm being too picky.

I don't think you're too picky. There should be replay analysis. The replays should be smart, not just look pretty. Break down the play, show me why one team succeeded and one team failed. This is one of my problems I had with what I saw today. Tiburon is always about something looking cool, but it either doesn't make much sense, or it isn't realistic.
