Movement and interaction are THE biggest problems in Madden imo. Definitely don't think the field is too big, or that the players are to big, imo it's the fact that the players slide and don't take realistic steps. I've seen guys cover 10 yards with like 2 steps.

The turning, jukes, cuts and plants need a major upgrade, and not only on offense Tiburon, but defense as well.

It would be far more effective to utilize http://easports.com/gamechangers/ideas.

Many of these ideas are there (and if they aren't you can add them) to be voted on by the community.

I was talking about you earlier in a PM discussing locomotion. Do you feel they were able to achieve more M10/NCAA 11 level locomotion last time you were at Tiburon and do you think what was shown in the Madden 13 E3 builds is representative of the locomotion in the build you played? For either Madden or NCAA 13, I think you went to NCAA CE right?

I'm just hoping in ten years the next generation is looking back at us and laughing that we can't throw the ball deep and that our players move like Dragonball Z characters.

We can only hope and pray, but knowing this is Tiburon, I highly doubt it.

If improved footwork and true momentum are the key features for Madden 14, then this guy needs to be their coverboy:

Still, I think the players might be scaled too big in Madden opposed to FIFA. It's hard to figure out though because the Madden players appear scaled right in this picture.

I don't know what it is, maybe everything is scale but the unrealistic player movement allows them to cover way too much ground, creating the impression that the scaling is off.
After reading this I thought about it some more and I think you may be right. I didn't realize a soccer field was that much wider. And the players do look scaled correctly in that picture so I think it is a matter of them covering too much ground. Players glide as if they're on roller skates so proper footplanting along with shorter strides would fix the issue. I'd like to see video of a real NFL player running full speed for 40 yards and a video of a Madden player running 40 yards and count the number of steps in each. I'd be willing to bet it takes that Madden player no where near as many steps. I still do think the field could be scaled ever so slightly larger though too. Personally, I'd rather the field be slightly too big rather than slightly too small (although perfectly to scale would be best but how exactly do you determine that?)
