I am sure we will see something hit soon enough, but I also think EA is beginning to realize the hype machine isn't working as much anymore. Sure people will buy the game because it's Football and we all love the NFL, but they aren't shoving a ton of info at us like we used to see. My thoughts are that they are waiting to drop a bomb of amazing info on us, or just taking it for granted we are going to buy it regardless thanks to the exclusivity.
The info timeline is pretty much the same as it has always been

From e3 til now is always dead. Then the player ratings come out, then the demo, then the playbooks.

I buy the game or "obtain it' because I WANT TO play an NFL game, I have hopes that this game will be great, but sure as all after the shiny polished demo with amazing player models, you get to your lower market teams and see Nothing has changed. You then start to see that another year, another big slap in the face to the rest of the NFL.
Did you not beat the dead horse by coming back and posting that?...

Good lord... What other info do you need? We literally know every detail about every mode, and there is a stickied thread with 50+ gameplay videos in it.

Seriously... more info. Some of you guys are just absolutely ridiculous

Times are changing, internet connectivity is now front and center, as it should be. I would assume 90%+ of video game buyers are connected to the internet, and WANT increased connectivity to play with their friends over the internet.
I don't follow twitter but usually people will post anything new and pertinent that they found on twitter here.

I think they've at least kept up with their blogs in previous years showing us screens and detailed info of exactly what they're fine tuning and etc. Not so much this year. We still don't even know much about how detailed and improved commentary is, which leads people to believe it's not really improved and detailed as we were originally told.

Re: Seems like there is a lack of info...

I got a question maybe someone can help me with. I dont wanna start a new thread so I tried to find the best most recent thread...bah, I'll go with this one...

No editing rosters for Connected Carreer, ok? What about created players? Can you create a player for a team and still use the whole team?

I understand You have the option to create a coach or player, which ever you choose thats what your using, ie; franchise mode/Superstar mode. But if you want to just create yourself for your favorite team and then use the whole TEAM and not just YOU. Is that going to be possible?

I gotta bad feeling about the answer as I see if you "quit" your created player(Superstar mode), he is retired and no longer usable. Sucks if thats the final answer!

Hope I didnt bother anyone with my question, and thanks for any info!

Exactly. We have yet to see this commentary truly in action, and if this is one of the key improvements this year, then why is it so in the dark? Who know? Maybe it all starts in August...

Unfortunately not, as you said, any created player will retire from your Connected Career when you switch to being a coach. So you couldn't start a CC as a QB for the Steelers and then switch to being their coach to control the whole team and your created player.

Unfortunate, but not a game breaker imo.
