Madden 13 PS Vita Demo Available Now, Post Impresssions

anybody else think the tackling is weird? its like all u have do is bump into the player and they fall over.

Yea I definitely had this issue. The game just doesn't feel like you're in control as much as the PSP or console maddens. I think most of it is because the game dips below 30fps quite a bit and input is lagged.

Just like last years console version, if you are playing defense and hold X after the ball is in play, the computer plays defense for you. It has nothing to do with lag.

There are many issues in the demo and no we are not being picky. LOL! Again like I said on the previous page, I am surprised how well this game has turned out. Who knows, like some have said FIFA Vita demo was the same way and the final product turned out very well. Besides some of the complaints, this will be a day 1 purchase for me and hopefully it gets some kind of discount if you also buy the PS3 version.

I am just so, SO impressed with this first year effort. I know this is supposedly running off 12's engine, but I SWEAR I'm seeing catches an animations that were not there last year or that I've seen in the PS3 demo. Combine that with the outstanding presentation that EA has added this year, and it's hard to believe I'm actually playing this on a handheld.

This is going to be a hell of a year for me with football gaming. The only thing that could have made it sweeter would have been cross-play... but I'll live, and just pray that we see that next year

Thanks that's a relief. I was worried I screwed up my speakers on the Vita.
