That's interesting since I re-calibrated mines and it's still acting iffy.

I have a fan but it doesn't really make any noise. I have 5.1 which is pretty loud when there's crowd noise so I'm thinking that my problems are due to that. My kinect is close to my left and right speaker (the kinect is on top of my TV).

Some commands work 100% of the time and others don't...makes me wonder if I am just not saying the commands in the right order or I just need to learn the commands better...

For example as the 49ers I can say "Davis" "Streak" and Vernon will run a streak but if I say "Post" or "Hook in" nothing happens...can you only call a few hot routes?

Working pretty good so far for me. 7.1 surround with kinect sensor right above center channel speaker and voice commands are spot on... so far. Does take some getting use to and definately not fun to play head to head with another human opponent(literally like telling them your next play)
however it is really cool to show friends how it works. If 2k13 works this good too, it might be worth picking up kinect. I just dont think kinect is worth buying soley just for Madden, if i didnt already have it, i wouldnt of bought it just for madden. After about 4 games using it I got tired of talking and turned it off.

And far as getting to the line with only 10 seconds on the play clock, you just moving through the play calling screen too slow. I get up to the line with 22 seconds to spare, have plenty of time to say adjustments. Only thing I wish was that it allowed you to cycle through the play book and call plays via Kinect as well. Other then that, I love the addition.

that's the thing i did re-calibrate my kinect microphone and it said everything was working fine and when im in my xbox 360 menus it recognizes my voice commands fine but when im in the madden game its very spotty .

Seems like others are having the same issues I'm having.

It works pretty fine for me on offense but on defense it rarely picks up.

The commands are working 95% of the time. But for the life of me saying "audible" never works. But I like the feature and hope they can improve it with a patch.

It works as well for me as most games do with Kinect. For some reason the Kinect doesn't like my southern draw but besides that it works pretty well. Honestly though I don't see myself using the feature very often. Nice addition but not something that overtly interests me.

i just don't understand what is going on cause when i am browsing the 360 menus it works great it goes right where i tell it to go i say xbox go to netflix and it works great as with all my other commands but when i go into madden sometimes it works and then other times not a chance.
