Re: Early release Zoom Cam Discussion

well IMO it would be in this games best interest to really try and get this zoom camera angle correct..What i mean is they clearly spent a lot of time making this game look beautiful ..With th new nike uniforms and much improved lighting..A perfected Zoom camera or better yet a custom camera would do nothing but benefit them by showing off the graphics and visuals that they surely put a LOT of time into....maybe they could move it up a couple clicks in an update

Re: Early release Zoom Cam Discussion

Posted this in the wrong thread, lol

The lack of CCM zoom cam is why I am waiting for the $29 sale to purchase. This is ridiculous, who is play testing this game?

I accepted loss of editing players+much more...but now they go and screw up my playable camera again?

Can someone add some new zoom cam videos? I want to see if I can see down the field realistically. Some people have said the camera is so low all you see is the lineman. From the videos I have seen, it looks realistic.

I like the idea of a cam that the line impairs a little bit of vision. This will finally add a bit of challenge to Madden passing, and for once it will be a realistic challenge and not some cheat or stat restraint to get it. If passing gets too hard I can always lower difficulty a bit(pro/all pro) but we all know what happens when we increase difficulty settings(all madden) to get a challenge.

I'd be fine though if they moved up the camera a tiny tiny bit and slightly angles a tiny tiny bit. Madden 10 had a zoom cam almost like that, and it was a great cam.

This video makes passing look pretty acurate, however the running cam zooms in too much IMO. Should just leave the cam alone after pre snap run(like it was post snap at the line) IMO.

Will you be posting any videos this year Finn? Also, what do you feel needs fixed. Thanks!

I wouldn't mind if they raised the camera up about 3-4 helmet sizes(on shotgun qb's or rb's at pre snap). Maybe after that the very slightest(I mean very slight) tilt down if it needs it. I like the zoom in/out level, you can see the flats and its still closer then any default cam ever is. I also like the cam pre snap really well.

Also could use a more dynamic type cam on kick returns it seams.

Finn, try playing on very slow, 0 speed threshold, and all pro default difficulty, no sliders. Is it still hard to see receivers open? I noticed on normal speed the players look like they are moving warp speed on zoom cam. Even more so then the standard bird cam.

Re: Early release Zoom Cam Discussion

I dont care about editing players, I dont care about starting as a rookie and becoming pro, I understand those who do though. My biggest gripe is I want to use ZOOM cam in CC mode with my team!!! I dont get it why EA feels they need to strip a freaking CAMERA ANGLE!!! I will not purchase till its fixed, there has to be a line that gets drawn on what we accept as a consumer. Something like this should not be cut or not working properly. A camera angle for Christs sake!

By the way I plan on playing offline, so even if it works for at least offline id be content. But it needs to work across the board. We get ONE year to play a game before a new one is out. The game should work close to 100% out the gate with such a short window till a new games out. Heres to hoping EA can get their head out of the sand and fix this ASAP.

Other than a guy from EA tweeting "looking into it" haven't heard a peep about getting this fixed. Maybe I missed it, but I am starting to wonder if they even care about this.

All of us need to hit the forums, twitter, what ever hard this year and see a full custom cam in Madden. One that isn't just a few clicks in/out but a full custom cam like Madden 05 and 2k5 had.
