I don't really believe the answer Dan gave in his post in the EA forums because If Coach Mode is in Play Now Mode it could be in offline CCM. If it's good enough for one it should be good enough for the other.

That logic still doesn't make sense at all. One has to think the auto throw logic is the exact same logic the cpu opponent uses when they are passing the ball against a human defense. Am I wrong? The cpu makes the reads and then passes the ball based on the reads. If this logic is broken in auto pass, it is also broken when I play the cpu opponent.

Is this guy claiming this an official EA developer? It sounds like he is just blowing smoke...For them to admit this makes no sense.

To be fair, the guy asking never use the word auto throw so that Dan guy might be thinking about a traditional coach mode.

But still, admitting that Madden's gameplay isnt suited for coach mode/cpu vs cpu is admitting that your AI's decision making is poor along with the game's football fundamentals.

Lol it isnt like the game need some special coding to make it playable in coach mode. It shouldnt be different from hum vs hum being that you have 10 other AI teammates on your team..

Dont think for a second that electronic arts cares what your options are, or giving you the best experience they can. Thats bs.

If they cared about the consumer they wouldnt have strangled the consumers options for football video games by purchasing this exclusive license

Imo that the ea / nfl exclusive license set football gaming back 10 years.

Competition breeds innovation

No competition, no reason to innovate. You make excuses for not doing this or not including that feature the consumer simply buys a competitiors product

But, we as consumers have no other options.

Its about money for ea. nothing more nothing less.

I do want to make a distinction between tiburon and ea. it wasnt tiburon that signed the deal it was ea. and i understand the tiburon folks are doing what they can with time constraints.

This is completely irrelevant. Stay on topic, please
