I'm thinking about getting back into madden. I haven't bought a madden game since madden 10. I loved '03-'07 on ps2. I had '08 on psp and thought it was a waste. I skipped '09. After playing the '11 and '12 demos, they didn't seem any different from '10 -- just cleaner animations.

I was just wondering, is that all of the "problems" that people have with this years game? I dislike EA as much as the next person, but those seem like very petty issues. When reading the complaints, people never really talk about much else.

** Please, no 2k fanboys. Every place I go to read about madden seems to be full of a small militia of jaded people who have nothing else to do besides flooding topics with negativity, because they can't play their crappy series anymore**
You are calling others fanboys, and yet you state the above last comment? What's the difference exactly in you and "them"?

Just get the game man, I am pretty sure just reading your above post you were either going to anyway, or already have it. It is pretty clear you are trying to act as if it is only a few minor features missing that is making people complain. I know I am wasting my time even replying to you, but here is the truth anyway. Comment how you like

Regarding the issue's, there are many more. One of which is the most dictated sports game i have ever played. If you like playing games that the cpu dictates completely go for it. I have messed with sliders, and it has improved a little, but the CPU will do anything it needs to do to insure the outcome it wants. Were not talking just winning the game,we are talking play by play basis here. If you can play the game and not notice this, more power to you. i will say once you see what is happening, it stands out like a sore thumb.

I won't even get into the poor play calling, poor 2 minute drills, defenders jumping 20 ft in the air for a int from miles away where the receiver is, non working camera options, lack of a custom cam in 2013, terrible camera options, and tons of bugs and glitches that you can find in the OS Official bugs and glitches sticky thread.

BTW-I am a huge 2k fan, and I personally think we have suffered more then most realize. We are way behind what we could have had if it wasn't for the exclusive with EA. To each their own though.

Not hard to understand man...think of it like this how much depth is there in just playing play now? Imagine only playing madden for play now, how much fun can that be over time? I used to play madden year long from release day to the next madden dropping because of franchise and such.

Well... I think they should just come up with a two disc system. One for Online, the other for Offline.

OFFLINE disc would include:

1. Editor for Roster
2. Auto Throw/Coach Mode
3. Co/op mode
4. Draft

ONLINE:

1. Updated Roster set available.
2. Tuner/Patch faster
3. Better Connection -
4. Anything that the online crowd would want to see in the game - cannot get the office stuff. Editor, coach/auto throw etc.

They could put these in a box set for say $80 for both, but you could buy either for say $50.

As far as the code....have no ideal. But it seems they have both ground work started. Madden 13 for the online crowd - just what the game is geared for. Rework Madden 12 more for the offline crowd. Editor, Auto Throw, coach mode all there.

I just don't know anymore. Seems the board is really split on this topic.

Horrible idea...do you enjoy getting buttraped and milked by these corporations? The game had a good layout in madden 12 just add improvements and depth which everyone expected ea and madden team to do! Improve upon madden 12 not scrap everything that people play the game for, to make a game mode that they tell us "oh you'll love this, once u play ccm you'll forget about all the missing features"

Really...I see myself saving 15 bucks because I don't ever ever play online. Turst me. The online guys will be buying roster updates before they are able to play. Just like the shooter games charge for updated maps. You gonna pay to play.

And like I said....just rework 12...not scrap it.

Sorry the point I meant to emphasize is that madden 12 had everything bundled in one disk for 60 bucks. Now you suggest they split it in half which is a rip off in my eyes. Its like buying a ps3 that usually comes with the controller but one year they decide you must buy it seperatly. It was a one deal package and now they separate it and sell it for more? Kinda foolish. I see your point though

Are you serious? Do you read the forums at all?

When word came out about this before launch it was a headline article on the front page of this website.........

With A LOT of uproar.

Read! Everybody doesn't play the same way.
