Understand this: If the play is going right your BANG BANG should go like this (RS = Right, Left + LS pointed towards the whole) If the play is going left your BANG BANG (left, right) should go like this: (RS = Left, Right + LS pointed towards the whole) Now, if or when you are able to get to the second level of the D try these RS (BANG) moves: BANG, BANG, BANG (Left, Right, Left) *Plant, stutter & burst BANG, BANG, BANG, BANG (Left, Right, Left, Right) *Barry juke Now there is more that I am learning, but for now this is what I know works 100% Also lol, I say "BANG BANG" because when you make a move with the RS it needs to be quick & hard I.E. left right (BANG BANG).

I am also probably one of the most die hard 2k5 fan's in these madden forums. I also was one of the very few people that got madden 13 that were the first to notice that running the ball in madden 13 felt different this year...something just felt GOOD about it. I have posted about it since day 1 release day numerous times over and over...and what baffled me was the fact i hadnt seen a whole lot of chatter on this topic thus far..to me it was one of the most surprising parts of madden 13 and one of the biggest welcomes to M13.....i run with the vikes and A.Peterson just feels so good this year in Madden 13 while running the rock...i do not know what EA did differently...well i guess i do know..you explain part of that but the core control scheme has been there in previous years ( i think ?) ..but it's just more responsive this year..and with the Infinity Engine...it compliments the running game so much...because i have seen so many times where my RB gets hit and goes off balanced than recovers balance only to stumble a bit more,etc..some times getting hit then spun onto one leg,etc..stuff like that..with IE i see all sorts off cool animations when fighting for yards, diving for yards, trucking for yards, breaking tackles for yards...juking for yards,etc,etc...the running game is a total blast this year guys.

PS I love stiff arming with A.Peterson too!! Once you get the running ball controls down...i mean learn them the right way...it will bring you a new whole new game of football..like the OP also states. Good thread...

Right on... I think some people just havent gotten it down yet..just havent grasp the fundamentals of the controls yet, seriously. I didnt want to admit it myself at first when i discovered them myself..but i was like WOW, NO WAY, WOW, NO WAY..lol

Well...Just because I said it was perfect does not necessarily mean that I speak for everybody. Clearly I am excited about the running game & my views & points are just that (mine). Are there a few glitches & need fixes? Sure but dude...This is a video game! I look at it this way, this is what they gave us for this year & unlike last year & years before its "playable". Sorry you feel that way but I'm just stating what I think can help others & how I feel about the "running game".

Thanks! I have it off as well as the the other auto thingy (defense). IMO in order to cut, juke, spin, bounce & etc... You only need to use speed once you get to the second level of the D.

Good post! That's EXACTLY how I feel, now if they can just top 2k's QB play this game will make me totally forget about 2k (never thought I'd say that, but true).

LOL, now that's a real 2k bro! I know it because I was thinking the same thing, I guess I was just soooooooo mad at EA for playing monopoly & casting my 2k football game into the pits of doom. But aye winning will make everything better & they are getting close...
