Dang...was hoping they would increase Colin Kaepernick's ratings...at least speed.

Although he showed his accuracy, I understand it was just preseason.....but at least he did show some physical ability that should increase some ratings.

since he is the backup, I expect this was the last chance for his ratings to change a bit for this season...if Alex starts the whole year.

You will just start with the 53 man roster. So you won't be making any preseason cuts, unless you sign FA yourself. There will not be random players generated.

Your half right, there is an option to start with the original 75 man roster also

well, now that the Saints players are not suspended anymore will they be able to be in this update?

i have no doubt they will be in the CC update.

Is there any chance at all that they were updating guys' equipment while they were at it?

Like, how RG3 is way off of his real gear? And wrong helmets etc?
