Madden Last-Gen Franchise Progress Thread

So after reading the http://www.operationsports.com/forum...st-madden.html thread I thought it would be cool to start a thread for everyone who is still playing last-gen madden games on the ps2/xbox/gamecube/etc. to post how you are doing in your franchise mode!

I dug up my PS2 and Madden 07 and I'm really excited to start a franchise with the Bears!

I played the first 2 preseason games on all-madden and got beat pretty bad in both, but I like the challenge and i'm already getting better. First game I lost 41-17 to the 49ers and second game I lost 24-6 to the Chargers. I just couldn't stop either teams ground game.

I really like the Madden 07 progression system where playing preseason games actually matters. I kind of missed out on Madden 07 on PS2 and all the PS2 games that came afterwards since I got a PS3 a few months after I got madden 07 for my ps2.

One bad thing is that i hooked up the PS2 slim to my hdtv and the graphics look pretty bad. I know that it will help if I get some component cables but HOW MUCH will it help? I've seen some people saying it makes not much of a difference and others saying there is a huge difference
