I'm with you guys. I'm trading this game in tomorrow. The game is not good. It has potential but it's just not there yet. Maybe next year...

Yea, the foundation is laid so its definitely ready to move forward. I'm predicting that Madden/NCAA 14 will be linked again with the draft classes, physics engine will be taken to the next level/spit shined, CCM issues ironed out, and player movement finally addressed. I'm very anxious for the release of the 14 versions of these two titles to say the least.

As for this year, this is the first time in the history of these titles that I have EVER returned them before the next version came out.

I would love it to be good, but I have little faith in EA...

EA is done with this game. Looman and the 'game changers' have been silent since the last patch. This game had WAAAAAAY to many ridiculous bugs and glitches for me to take it seriously. Got $40 for it on Ebay. Bought it off ToysRus for $45. It was almost worth the $5 difference! Maybe next year........

This is what has killed the sports gaming industry. Back in the PS2 days developers couldn't do patches, they had to have a sense of urgency to make sure the game worked correctly at release. Now days, EA is lazy and falls back on patch after patch and tuners. Is it really that hard to release a game that isn't just covered with bugs? And when are we going to stop giving EA the benefit of the doubt? Stop dreaming that EA will provide a godly patch that will fix all the games flaws, because its not happening. Until EA actually releases a game without bugs, I won't buy. Madden 13 will be my last EA Sports game until they prove the can release a game that's not a joke, except for NHL and FIFA.

Re: Madden NFL 13 Title Update #4?

I personally believe that this game is not fixable via patches. There are too many little issues to address in various issues to make it an enjoyable experience. I think the next time I'll play Madden again will be 14. As excited as I was about CC and the physics engine, I kind of expected it to turn out like this. It was always going to need two games to work out the bugs etc.

It's not just the sports gaming community, heck, games that come out every 3 or 4 yrs needs patches, it's the way it is.

I'm not sure if their is a game in our library that doesn't need patching or needed patches.
