Gibbs has no Gun forms, but it's an interesting run heavy / west coast / Air Coryell decadent / variation...

He was into two TEs / 1 TE and a FB / H Back with a couple small / fast WRs (Smurfs)...

I almost went with that, but went Vermeil w my CLE...

Interesting. I like using the FB as well. Always have two of'em on the roster. I am not sure if I like the smurf WR thing though. Well, I'll see if tall guys will fit, but I do like it. Zone Run, here I come

Two cents:

T. Benjamin and Norwood are both "Proto Smurfs" and they're already on the roster...

Gordon is a beast in the slot and is also big enough and a decent enough run blocker to handle LBs from there too...

Making classic teams. What playbooks do you recommend for:

98 Broncos... which playbook is good for running the west coast BUT making sure Terrel Davis is the featured offense.... he still runs alot?

98 Vikings.... is Madden the best playbook option?

99 Rams.... Vermeil or Madden playbook.... something else better?

Last year's patriots.... I know they are more balanced with Riddley now... but I wanted a playbook that features TE Gronk iand it makes Brady a spread quarterback

04 Falcons... Vick a running QB.... Panthers or Redskins offense better?

90's Oilers.... Waren Moon Run n gun or Madden?

98 DEN: was a Shanahan / Zone Run so maybe HOU or KC?

98 MIN: pretty sure the Billick Legend book was based on his time as MIN OC at that time

99 STL: I'd say Vermeil

11 NE: Tough call...RNG or POSSIBLY Vermeil or Billick

04 ATL: CAR or WSH

90s HOU: RNG or MAYBE Billick

That's my take, anyway...

True, but I like to find players who also fit the scheme. I know it doesn't do anything, but the game would be too easy without that restriction.

I'm kind of late to this thread but it has caught my interest. Changing the teams specific playbooks, can we also do this for Play now offline mode or is this topic/edits is for the CCM mode? I don't really play CCM mode, but I hate how the CPU playcalling is for offline Play Now mode, not realistic at all.
