Well, I'm not touching that slider for my online league. It would make my trade to put Julio Jones and Andre Johnson on the same team pointless.

I don't know that, though. That should be the next thing I investigate. As far as I can tell, players get a measily 10 XP for every tackle, so it's all about meeting those weekly goals and making big plays.

I meant turn it to 100 during practice.

Do you get XP for performance in practice? Or is it simply whether or not you complete the task. Just wondering because that would seem like a good time to work with the young guys.

The CPU teams do not practice, correct?

I m assuming they do not as they progress so slowly.

I don't believe the CPU practices. I've gone through multiple seasons and looked at CPU teams, and I don't get the sense that some players really progress.

As for practice performance, no, players don't get any additional XP for their stats in a practice. It's a flat amount of XP for every player on your roster when completing a practice.

Last update was SUPPOSED to make players who actually "play" in practice get more xp. So you could depth chart your alts in and see them progress a little more.

From what I can tell, this doesn't work at all.

To test it, I picked up a HB rookie who had not touched the field ever. Made him my starter. I have always run Easy Win, found out it gave the best player XP for difficulty a long time ago (sorry I didn't share).

Anyway, he got over 100 yards rushing, and checking his weekly goals said he only need 68 to get 250 XP.

But when I checked his XP, he had only 1500.

So, he didn't get more for his on field time during practice...although EA said that players in practice should. Or I misread it.

Either way, proves that players don't get bonus XP for practice field time.
