How do you know if the listed name for the fictitious rookie is real or a nick name?

Either way, it's what they go by so what's the diff?

There are much bigger issues in M13 to be concerned with.

It is weird the for the last 10 years you could always edit rookie players name and now not only can't you import but you can't edit the names. I really think they don't want you to make Matt Barkley, Geno smith in M13 so you have to buy 14 where as with M12 you really didn't have to I don't think import will ever come back.

I have no issue with the names of the rookies. I was just pointing out that while one poster gave a list of real player names that would seem strange if we didn't know the players and saw those names in the game. Another guy said Pacman was another such name, which is mixing nicknames with actual first names.

The Titans didn't draft Pacman Jones. They drafted Adam Jones. His listed name was Adam.
