Wind Indicator Broken??

Am I the only one seeing the wind indicator pointing one way, and the ball going a totally different direction when you kick a FG or kick off?

It doesnt seem to do it all the time and I cant seem to find a pattern as to why it is opposite.

Am I missing something or is it broken?

afaik it's backwards, or rather it's pointing towards the direction the wind is coming from.

Actually, it has 2 different affects. When kicking with the wind it helps field goals, but hurts kick offs. Watch what happens when you kick off against the wind: your kick off will go deep into the end zone. Then when kicking with the wind your kick off won't go as far. Depending on the wind strength it may not even make the end zone.

The wind meter is def counter-intuitive.
Hope it's changed for 14.

Wind itself has very little effect.

Old-Gen made accounting for wind so much more of a skill.

Just like the iOS game it was so much fund and intense.

I've noticed that it's backwards, but never that it's different for KOs/FGs.

What I have noticed is that any wind tends to make KOs go further, or at least wind has little negative effect on KOs. But kicking with the wind at your back (arrow pointing down while looking north/south) you will still get a deeper kick than if it's pointing up. And this corresponds to kicking FGs as well, just with more of a negative effect for kicking into the wind (arrow pointing up).

What you're describing sounds more like a cross wind (east/west instead of north/south) which in my experience does tend to help KOs and hurt FGs pretty much regardless of the direction being kicked.

Im pretty sure after missing several deep kicks with Janikowski that the wind direction indicator is 100% backwards.

If it says that the wind is at your back, think again, you'll be kicking into the wind. If its pointing DOWN, you are deffinitely getting a BOOST from the wind.

Trust me, I kick A LOT with the Raiders.
