Now if you start completing passes and running the ball effectively while doing the no huddle, then that's fine. But after an incompletion is just annoying.
That is exactly what I'm in fear of - it'd just be no-huddle all game long (why wouldn't they). Especially since they don't change your defensive personnel - just your formation... it'd likely turn into cheese city.

You need to drop the elitist attitude you've been carrying for the last couple days if you want to remain a member here.
I'm not sure what I did to deserve a threatening response like that? Realist maybe - elitist... absolutely not.

Reason behind my logic: I'm from Eugene, OR (life long Ducks fan) so I know what a legitimate no huddle offense looks like (what NCAA system is trying to replicate). You don't see that in the NFL - not yesterday, and not now. Only team that had true success with it were the Bills (K-gun). So yes I'd like to preserve ONE authentic thing from Sundays.

To others it's false IMO to think that the entire playbook is opened up in a no-huddle offense. Teams install packages on a weekly basis, and try to develop an identity over the course of a game. Their attack is scripted so it's likely that in real life they'll have "x" amount of plays for a specific down and distance leading up to the game. What's getting called is dictated by coverage / tendencies / coach & player perspective. They aren't out there going "Let's call 'Y-trail' cause I seen this money play tutorial on Youtube and we're guaranteed success."

End of the day Madden's no-huddle system is much more realistic than NCAA's. Heck the majority of NFL QB's don't possess the intangibles required to run NCAA's no-huddle offense in real life let alone College guys that will be career camp bodies/backups/all-star grocery bag fillers.

I didn't mean to come off rude or anything, and the internet is full of text taken out of context, however - I do feel I deserve an apology as I feel the above threat was entirely unwarranted. I'm just hear to shape a better Sunday simulator, and am aware of others not sharing my same opinions. I do not think though that my shared/differing opinions on a video game should have me branded as an "elitist" as a person. I'm just here to help.

Happy posting OS'ers!

It'd be nice if the cpu punters actually tried to pin you deep instead of kicking into the endzone every time they punt from your side of the field.

Also you should be able to reorder formations and plays in custom playbooks.

It would be nice if penalities actually worked and CPU Clock management wasn't such a mess late in each half.

CPU Clock management was good up until Madden 12?

What the heck happened?

Telling someone that they need to play NCAA if that is the way they want to play is acting like your opinion is more important than theirs.

That is being an elitist.

And it wasn't just this post. You have been making posts about others who disagree like they are wrong for a couple days now.

I actually happen to agree with your thoughts and opinions.

But the attitude that anyone who disagrees with you needs to change their ways needs to stop.

I think the ncaa personnel based no huddle play calling belongs in Madden. I just watched Peyton Manning (I consider him the OC) run 30 plays in the first quarter against STL. No huddle play calling is getting bigger in getting bigger in the NFL, IMO

can't say I think you should be able to no huddle after an incomplete pass tho

I really think the no huddle should be in especially with the up temp offenses and the focus on building your own legacy as a coach, if you take the coach route in connected franchise. It's important to have these creative strategies and tools at your disposal in creating your own persona as a coach. Also a formation creator or editor, keeping in mind the relevant personnel and formation rules would be a neat touch. Chip Kelly recently put in a four tight end formation due to the fact the eagles have an abundance of athletic tight ends, that would really be a cool formation to create and use in your coaching career.

Another thing I found interesting was that I cut Michael Williams a TE in the preseason my Lions franchise, and he showed up in the week 2 game against the Cardinals as their 2nd TE. He caught a touchdown pass for them. It would have been cool to mention that he was cut from the Lions and is now exacting some revenge.

Also as PastaPadre mentioned in his impressions, it would really be neat to mention statistics and standing, and the importance of the game in the commentary. Maybe develop a couple stories about every player or most players to include in a game during some down period.

Do you think this will be added or any other "Little Things" features in the next gen version of Madden25? Man, I hope so, I have M25 pre-ordered for the PS4 and it would be a bummer if they don't add any of these neat things...I would love to see them add a Score/info ticker and more stats banners.

You like the college system - Play the college game where it's more prevalent.
Are you aware of the Bills, Patriots, and Eagles' current offenses? All three will likely run 80+ plays per game in a hurry-up offense, and the Saints might, too.
