worth buying ps4 just for madden 25?

Madden 25 will not be a port or tweaked version of the PS3 game supposedly.
It will for one thing be using the Ignite engine and not the infinity engine.
Will it play great? Who knows. We just know it's been getting worked on for a while and not cut and dry port.

Normally I would say that if you believe if is worth it then do it. No one has that right to tell you what should or should not be of personal value.

That being said there has been little differences between Madden/NCAA appear and run on the different platforms. Too many have complained about the lack of "PlayStation" love to not warrant a more cautious approach.

I think a PS4 will be worth it, just not for Madden 25.

I will be shocked if that game is anything but a complete mess.
Going off what we have always seen - Games ported to the next generation system to hit the release window generally are. Even more so it seems with sports games, as they often tend to lose features, and as others noted have all sorts of glitches and bugs.

Hopefully they'll be a next-gen Madden worth owning down the road. But I'd be shocked if it's this year's version.

A good football game can definitely move units. NFL 2k moved units for dreamcast once people saw the game. Same with Madden 2001 and the PS2. Once I saw both of these games I KNEW I had to have the systems. Also alot of people didn't buy dreamcast because Madden wasn't appearing on the system.

With that said I think Madden is way past the point where it's a system seller. I'd love for it to get back, but I highly doubt Tiburon has the skills to produce a football game that is a must have with most fans current expectations.
