So authentic and true to the game.
What are you talking about??? The only reason it looks that way is because he has white sleeves and a white jersey his arms just look big. Look at his right arm... it's normal size! It's just the angle that makes it look like he is on steroids.

Nothing sim about pre scripted line animations, why does every double team block look the same, the guy getting blocked also does the same thing smh head moves back then body leans to the side. seen the same exact animation in every blocking vid released this is bad

How many Devs have we seen in this same 9 years. I agree that EA and this madden game shouldbe light years ahead of what we are getting now but the guys that are in chargeof the development now can’t be blamed for the state Ortiz, Strauser, Cummingsor the 2-3 other devs left the game in.

I absolutely hated Madden from about 2008 until 2012…I’d buyit every year…play it for a month then be sick of it. Slowly they have been able to improve thegame and when I say slow I mean SLOW. Isit the game today that I envisioned 9 years ago?…Not even close but what I’vealso came to realize is that EA the corporation does not have the same visionthat most of us have or even many of their own developers have about the game . That’s why I think we have seen so muchturnover and devs coming and going. IMO EAstymies a developers creativity…We need to look no further than 2K’s Mike Wangwho once was an EA employee on NBA Live. He left after one year. Not surewhy he left but my personal guess is he felt like he could express his artistryand creativity without obstacles with his current employer and not at EA.

So now that I feel like I have a better understanding on whyMadden isn’t where I want it to be I have a choice to just never play footballgames or find a way to enjoy the game and hopefully have some way to provideinformation that might impact future iterations of the game. Let’s face it that NFL exclusivity is not goingto change anytime soon so hoping 2K comes back seems pointless. I’ve come to grips with the fact that Maddenwill always pretty much be exactly like it is with small incremental changes. Back in the day I used to lead the charge in “lets boycott EA…Ihate EA” rhetoric but once you start thinking of this as more of a business andrealize that EA knows they can turn a strong profit without spending more moneythan they need to it becomes more and more understandable why we are where weare.

Cheer up Madden Fans, I only really was interested in FIFA, and they've shown us a grand total of one 1:30 trailer and a few interviews. But hey, our crowds look good!

I'd like to see some of the same animations with different outcomes.

We all know the QB animations are just horrendous so no need to go into that anymore.

I really like how the helmets move now with contact. Pretty cool detail. I wish the head tracking was better and players looked around more. I really liked how RGIII looked in the E3 trailer. Sad to see that wasn't real. I thought player sense would add to this but, it seems like it was scaled back.

Honestly I think this whole game was scaled back from what they wanted originally.
Coming in to make basically this same exact post. Line play looks much better. QB throwing motion looks the same as it has. Helmet "physics" is a really cool addition. Although you might not see it much in real time speed. I have to say it was a much better video than yesterdays.
