Formation Shifts.

Something that I have'nt read much about, and that I did'nt know existed until a couple of days ago are formation shifts. One you are lined up you can change your formation on the fly. It looks like you are audibling, but you're not really. You still run the same play, only the players are lined up differently. I'm still figuring out ways to utilize it more effectively. Just wondering how many people have been using this, and how they use it to their advantage.

I haven't used it much, except in shotgun to bring the TE next to the QB to block, instead of positioning at the line. I suppose if I experimented with it more, I'd use it more, but as it stands, I just run plays out of their given formations.
