Does anyone know if 2K Sports is still releasing updated rosters on opening with guys like Dice-K and Sosa on it.

Both of these players are already in the game under fake names so a roster update would do no good for these players as well as many other guys that would include fake player names. I think Sosa is in the FA pool(fake name) with the default roster & Dice-K is actually on the Red Sox roster I believe under a fake name. Thanks!

yes there rosters updates and there is a guy name Dennis Miles who is actually Dice-K but because he is not in the MLBPA He is not allowed to be in the game there for he is under the name Dinnis Miles and a guy named Shannon Sanders is Sammy Sosa so here is how this thing works


As we know Right now Dice K is not in any game under his name and because of this he is under a fake name meaning he is not a part of the MLBPA

But once Dice K pitches in a Regular Season Game meaning his 1st Career MLB Start

or Playing Time for position players but as Dice K in genreal once he pitches in a regular season game he will be eligable for the MLBPA Once that happens Dennis Miles in MLB 2K7 Will be Edited in to Dice K real name in the next roster update according to themanat2ksports on there fourms

so rather he means the opening day rosters or the one in may remains to be seen? but once Dice K Throws his 1st regular season pitch he will then be a part of the MLBPA there for allowed to be in MLB 2K7 MLB 07 The Show among other baseball games! thanks

Yea thanks for the response's y'all but are they def. releasing an update on opening day? I just dont want to have another situation like Madden when they said they'd release them monthly and they made like two lol.

I would say dont expect it on opening day. More like a week afterwards because eveybody most likely would have made the one apperance requirement in a weeks time. BTW, Dice K aint pitching opening day, Schilling or Beckett will.
