lens cleaning

Hey I need some help. My 2k baseball game keeps freezing up on me so I bought a lens cleaner for my x-box. The problem is after I put the cleaning disc in the screen says I need a dvd remote to play the disc. Is there anyway to clean the lens without having to buy the dvd remote.

LOL, I was having the same exact problem. The only fix I had for this was that my kid actually BROKE my Xbox,so I got a new one. So you're not the only thats had that problem. Even with my new Box now I still OCCASIONALLY get some freezes. If you're actually able to get the game to load finally and it freezes on you just leave it alone for a couple minutes and you'll get a notification saying your disc is dirty or damaged. STILL just leave it alone and soon it will go right back to the game. At least this is working for me. In all it takes about 5 minutes or so. A total pain but give it a shot..I'd rather take a break for a few than have to replay the WHOLE game,lol. Good luck.
