Well exactly.

The Show did it right for their system, where as a low ball, chances are depending on the batter, pitcher, count, etc., the ball will be driver into the dirt, same for high pitches with pop-ups.

2K better do it right with their system, and not have it where, okay I aimed low in the zone because the pitch was there, so *bam* I made solid contact. When 99% of the time in baseball, it will be driven into the dirt.

The Show still has zone hitting, the system is askew basically because of the bat coverage. They made it the size of a beach ball. That is why you do not have to use the left stick to aim because in the neutral position the bat covers the whole zone. If they allowed us to adjust it with a slider, the problem would be solved very easily.

90% of that stuff has no appeal to me ... but I'll happily play the demo. If they can impress me, I'll buy.

I disagree. In zone (Correct me if I'm wrong) if I aim low and in and swing...the swing is low and in. With The Show if I aim low and in the swing will be wherever the ball is. Even if you do not move the stick to aim swing (The swing then should remain in the middle) the swing animation still goes to where the ball is.

I agree though that the coverage is way to big.

Not to hijack a thread but put the bat coverage indicator on. If you leave it idle and swing, it will not move towards the ball.

"The catcher will call pitches based on the hitter's weakness"

In a way this is good, but it could blow up in a hurry and be IMO a game killer.

My point is that if I'm batting and I'm weak low and away will I be able to possibly make adjustments and will the CPU pitch the same to every batter all the time?

Additionally, if I'm pitching will hitters adjust their approach from at bat to at bat?

Re: Major League Baskeball 2K9 Features List

I like the list of features and am glad they didn't try to add a new mode or anything.

I'd be perfectly happy if they tightened up the gameplay and found a steady framerate. And if the graphics improved a bit I wouldn't complain either.

Example of Zone Hitting in 2k3. What I loved about this was the higher the difficulty the smaller the circle got. If we are getting a more updated version of this I will be
