Well I have had it happen to me about 5 times in 10 games using the stick with the throw being in the green.

Also, take a look at what you have your errors set at. According to Guru, if you have your errors set higher than 5, you will probably see the FB man pull his foot off the bag. He said it doesn't happen on 0 or 5.

i have errors set to 65 on both sides and havent seen it yet in all the games ive played....i use the stick and i have delgado on the mets as my first baseman....maybe ive just been lucky?

I am using BFJ's sliders. I have been since I got the game and have played around twenty games. However, I have yet to see this problem occur. There is no doubt this is an issue to some people but it is not a problem for me. I am using the right stick to thrown to the base and I have throw terrible throws and throws in the green, still nothing.

Just wanted to weigh in here to say that it is definitely a glitch or animation bug or something. I posted this in reply to another 1B bag thread, but it seems relevant here, so...

I read all about this glitch - and the suggestions from posters - before getting the game. Going in, I figured it was just some baseball / 2K newbies not timing it correctly or holding the control stick too long and manually pulling the 1B-man off the bag. I've been playing baseball games since the days of RBI for the NES (even longer, actually), and I've played every version of 2K baseball created to date... in other words, I'm very familiar with the difference in a glitch and a throwing error or a mistake in user control.

Now that I've played it, it's definitely a glitch... no doubt about it.

The first time it happened I was using the control stick to throw, remembered the suggestion about not keeping the stick pressed, and figured it must have been me. I tried to do a replay, but replays refresh too quickly in this game, and all I got was two seconds of the pitcher standing on the mound... the previous play has already been erased.

The second time it happened, I was using the buttons to throw, and on this this occasion,I was able to access the replay in time. The runner should have clearly been out (it wasn't a close play), the throw was dead-on, the 1B caught the ball with his foot on the bag, and then stepped off. The ump called the runner safe.

He was on the bag with the ball in his glove. He didn't drop it, he wasn't pulled off, and he didn't step off the bag too early. He completed the play, then stepped off the bag, then the runner reached first and was called safe. It was absolutely a routine play, except that an out was - for some reason - not registered.

I still enjoy the game, but hopefully they'll issue a patch for some of this stuff relatively soon. It hasn't happened to me so often that I have to cross my fingers on every throw to 1B, but iften enough that it affects my perception of the game.

This thread can basically stop here if people will just edit their damn sliders.

Move Fielder errors to 5, and be done w/ it.

I've had mine at 5 for the 3 games I've played, and haven't seen this issue ONCE.

If it was so rampant as people are claiming then I should've seen it at least once w/ this slider at 5, and I haven't.
