Re: patch # 2 announced

So hold on..

People are actually satisfied in being told there's a patch but not being told what is going to be fixed?

Take the nothing that this Ronnie only ever seems to know, combine it with 2ks track record of releasing shotty games, take into account the atrocity that is this game not to mention FoM and the lack of attention/knowledge being shared on it's forums and I am not one bit convinced this is anything more than a ploy to get customer complaints to slow down.

Sheeeeit, it's been a month since they announced the FoM patch, why do people buy into this false hope 2k keeps providing?

But honestly, hasn't VC come through in the past with patches for some of their other titles, such as the College Hoops or NBA 2K series? I think the hope is that with VC bringing it in-house, that the patch will deliver. HOPE being the key word here.

The patch isn't finalized and 2K won't release patch notes until it is. It means they actually are beginning to understand the concept of "underpromise/overdeliver."

He (Ron 2K) did say that he's heard the patch would be finalized sometime within the next week or so, at which time notes will be released.

Relax

Man, that would be nice. I wasn't expecting it so soon. But I guess it will probably take awhile to get it approved on XBL, etc. At least that stage seemed to take forever last year.

Yeah, I imagine it being finalized by VC/2K next week would still put the actual release about 3+ weeks away. MS in particular takes their sweet a$$ time...lol.

I wonder if the PC people will end up getting it earlier this time since the approval process is much smoother? Then again, they'll likely delay that release though, so the console users don't pitch a fit (and rightfully so, I suppose).

Re: patch # 2 announced

Is this still the Patch #2 thread? I wasn't seeing any talk on it in the other threads and I find that hard to believe, since a lot of us are basically banking on this patch to "save" the game, if that's possible.
