I hope no one really believes THIS GAME caused the RROD...I've had it once so far, and was playing NBA 2K9 when it happenned. got my system back within 10 days, and it's fine (knock on wood) so far.

Just called XBOX and ill hopefully get my xbox back in a few weeks

just bought the game was excited to play it turn on console and its dead. Have been lucky so far as its a launch console, would i be better of buying a new one, anyone know how long they guarantee a repaired xbox 360. i dont want it to last a few months and then have to pay the repair fee again, when i can buy a new one for double the repair fee but have 3 yr warranty

You wrap it up in about 2 big towels and turn it on for about 15 mins.. after that I used it all weekend.

It's not any game that caused it, I figured it would happen sooner or later since I've had mine for almost 3 years now. It's getting fixed for free.. so I just have to live without it for 2 weeks.
