Anybody know what the system requirements are? I haven't been able to find them. I'm interested in the PC version, but I'm not sure if my CPU will be able to handle it.

These are the requirements for NBA 2K10. MLB and NBA were the same last year and should be again for 2K10:

  • OS: Windows Vista, XP, or 2000
  • Processor: Pentium 4 2.4 Ghz Single Core processor or equivalent (2.8 Ghz for Vista)
  • Memory: 512 MB or more (1 GB for Vista)
  • Graphics: Video card with 128 MB or more memory and one of the following chipsets is required: ATI x1300 or greater | NVIDIA 6600 or greater | DirectX 9.0c compatible card with Shader Model 3.0 support
  • DirectX®: DirectX 9.0c compatible
  • Hard Drive: 10.5 GB or more free space
  • Sound: DirectX 9.0c compatible

I'm rolling with the PC version. I believe the mod community will make this game go to another level like they did with NBA 2K10. Updated stadiums, players and real marketing banners for stadiums. You can't go wrong, plus you save around $35 bucks.

Yea.. I just hope the uniforms get dirty this year in the PC version. How ridiculous was it to see every player in a crisp clean uniform the whole 9 innings ?

Re: Anyone else thinking about PC version?

There is no comparison between the 2k9 PC version and the Xbox360 version if you have a good PC. I have a 2.8GHZ Dual Core, 4GB Ram, and an Nvidia GT260 (paid $159 for on sale) and it ran like butter on my 30" Dell monitor at 2500x1600....that's right....2500x1600. I do highend video editing and animation so that is why I have this killer monitor. Also....with the 360 controller on the PC it felt more responsive than the Xbox 360 too!

Anyway, IMHO 2k9 really never pushed the hardware that much. I also played it on my backup machine with a DualCore 2GHZ with 2GB Ram and an NVidia 7950 card and it ran fine at 1920x1080 there too.

Having said all this, this years could be completely different so your mileage may vary.

And even though there weren't as many mods as in the past, the mod for PRogressive Field still made my day!

Re: Anyone else thinking about PC version?

Hopefully there will be a PC demo like last year. I've got the 360 demo, but I'd like to see how it runs on my PC before I would think about buying it.
