No, I like my presentation. I actually like to take my time playing. I was talking about how Reyes jacked that opposite field HR and the ball just shot out of the park. Too much power for a shot like that. But I'm really liking the game overall. Just paid a visit to MVPMods and they are working on jerseys and stadiums as we speak. The editing tool someone made for NBA2k works to open the files in MLB. I'm gonna drop $10 and get a full membership so I can download everything as soon as it's done. I can't wait to have this game modded out. Now if there was just some type of global editor for arm strength and hit power. This game has some promise...... Just needs a little TLC!

I agree. It's nice they have IE data, but it doesn't really play out on the field, meaning CPU opponents. I want for the hitter to actually work the count and look for "his pitch." Then as the count progresses, adjust to the situation. And I'm not really seeing the pitchers have much in the way of being wily and working me. It's kinda vanilla, just performing to some basic tendencies without the mental aspect of things. A.I. 105...... It'd just be nice to have a little more "cat and mouse." That's what Baseball is really all about. Chess match...

        Looking good so far.

Wish I had more time for this game. I'm gonna have to wait until May to get it.

what video and camera settings are you all using?
I think the game looks unimpressive, I have video set on 1920x1080 and everything set on high. last years version looked more impressive.
camera angles I dont like, what settings are similar to last years? any help would be appreciated. thanks

Anyone find a way to set the gameplay to classic hitting?

Is there a demo for this on PC? Or will there be one like last year?

I might just wait until the patch gets released. If it's released for the PC, I'll get the game. If it isn't, then screw you 2K for neglecting all the PC players again.

Re: Anyone else thinking about PC version?

Finally booted up the PC version and I must say it almost looks as good as the show on high settings. I am running the game on my quad i7 with ATI HD4850 and can't be more happy with my $29.99 purchase. When I get this modded out like NBA 2k10 this is going to create a whole new experience. I highly recommend this version over the 360 if you are looking for the overall MLB experience. This game is almost at The Show quality..

Hopefully 2K doesn't treat us like they have with the NBA game...

Has anyone else played online? Tried playing a couple of games and the frames per second were not at all as they are online. Almost seems like a different game because of it.

Early signs on the modding are good. I see the ugly blue ball cursor is a thing of the past already.

Is there no way to get any sort of surround sound? I have a creative xfi and can only get a pretty poor stereo mix with analog cables or optical (with dts connect).

Thats a pretty big drawback compared to the console versions.

Edit: mlb2k9 apparantly has multichannel sound, so Ill have to fool around with settings later.

Im holding off buying the PC version until someone figures out how to use the CLASSIC PITCHING and BATTING. Im a button type of player....never felt comfortable with the swing sticks and the pitching sticks
