Re: Anyone else thinking about PC version?
Does the PC version give you the ability to save your game between innings by any chance? I rarely play games on PC, but I know in the past that was usually something PC versions of games would have that consoles would not, and it could push me over the top to go PC instead of 360.Twitter:@Fetter21

Re: Anyone else thinking about PC version?
It amazes me that this feature isn't in consoles yet. I had a baseball game for the PS1, I can't remember the title. I think it was All Star Baseball or something like that. I think it was 1997 or so, and even way back then, I was able to save a game in the middle.
I will be picking up the PC version though, I like what I've seen thus far. I think it'll play well on my laptop.Comment

The 360 version has had this feature for a few years now too.Comment

Re: Anyone else thinking about PC version?
Oh, OK. I've been playing MVP 05 on PC for the past few years, so I haven't really kept up to date with the console baseball games. But I still wonder why it hasn't been done across the board in other games.Comment

Re: Anyone else thinking about PC version?
Yeah, I got my "ready for pickup" e-mail today. So tomorrow at 10:00AM, I'm gonna have it! It would have been nice for them to have sent guys like MVP Mods a pre-release copy so they could have been seeing what they could do with it.I'm just hoping there is some type of online functionality. They've hinted but not confirmed....
Actually, like in your other post, it would have been nice for some info on the PC version, but I'm not really worried. I just want it to be supported better than NBA2k. But if it runs well offline and has no major bugs, I'll be good. I just want to feed my "graphics 'ho!" After playing NBA2k for about a week solid at 1080p, my 360 is looking pretty ugly. And the demo of MLB2k didn't help things. I want to see if I can run 2k at the same level as my other games on PC. If I can, man it's over. Might give my son the 360! LOL!Note to Tiburon Marketing:

Re: Anyone else thinking about PC version?
Well, 2K PC games are basically direct ports from the consoles (minus online play), so all the info realeased about the 360/PS3 version applies to PC as well, aside from the online stuff, unless they added it this year to PC, but I highly doubt it.Last edited by jeffy777; 03-01-2010, 04:59 PM.Comment

Re: Anyone else thinking about PC version?
Are the console versions not ports from the PC? I was of the belief that the game would be designed and programmed on a computer and ported to the respective console.May 6, 1998: 9 IP, 1 H, 0 BB, 20 K
Thanks to all that helped with the Baltimore Orioles roster, and to N51_rob for making me an OS premium member.

Re: Anyone else thinking about PC version?
P.S. I'm gonna try and run FRAPS to get some screenies and video footage. Hopefully my system will have enough juice to get something worthwhile. Man, I need (want) an i-7 system!Last edited by BrianFifaFan; 03-01-2010, 10:28 PM.Note to Tiburon Marketing:
